How SEO for YouTube Guest Appearances Can Help You

Today, I’m going to show you how guest appearances on other YouTube channels show up when people are searching for your brand. It’s powerful to take up more real estate on the first page of Google. It supplements what you’re doing on your own YouTube channel and builds authority.

I have an example of an interview I did with Treasure Valley Dave on our YouTube channel, The Real Property Show. He’s a realtor in the Boise Metro area who specializes in helping people move from California, Washington, Oregon, and other states to Idaho. The video is about the three tips on buying or selling a home with Treasure Valley Dave. We did this video or published it two months ago, and this went on our YouTube channel, not his.

When someone searches for Treasure Valley Dave on Google, they will type in his brand name, obviously looking directly for him in that brand search. His website will pop up, as will his YouTube channel, Facebook, etc.

Scroll down a bit further, and you will find the video we published on The Real Property Show. Dave is getting exposure to anybody who’s looking for him on our show and his.

Further down, you will see the same video, but it’s embedded on our website at Freeman’s Construction, Inc. Still, it’s showing up on the first page of Google for him. We’ve done a video transcription, optimized this blog post, and then backlinked it to his website.
