How to Send a Google Review Link to Customers

Getting a Google Review Link

Hey everybody! Today, we’re excited to demonstrate a new feature added to your Google Business profile: adding your social links. We’ll guide you through this process and then show you how to effectively post on your Google business profile and link it back to your website to boost search result visibility. Let’s dive in.

First, let me share my screen. If you’re tuning

Today, I will show you how to find a Google review link you can send to customers for feedback. There are two ways to get to it and one spot to find it. Let’s dive in.

We all know how critical Google reviews are. If you have many of them, you’ll show up better in local search. But how do you send a link to your customer to get one?

First, you want to log into the Gmail account that manages the company’s Google Business profile. In this instance, it’s info@buildit.media. Make sure you’re logged in. I’m using a Chrome browser, but any browser will do.

Option 1: Go Directly to Google Business Profile

The first way is to go to your business profile manager. Once you’re in there, find your company and click on it. Your company’s profile will show various options for managing your Google business profile.

Click in the dropdown and look for “Ask for Reviews.” That’s where the link is located.

Option 2: Search for Google Business Profile

Another way to get there is simply through your browser. Open your browser and search for your company’s name. Once you find it, click on it. You’ll end up in the same spot.

Ask for Google Reviews

Now, click on “Ask for Reviews”. This opens up an opportunity to copy the link. You can then send this on any platform you want — email, WhatsApp, Facebook, or other social media channels. For example, on Facebook, you can type out a message, decide who receives it, and then request a review.

How You Get a Customer Review

Let’s consider what happens when someone clicks on this link. Your customers are taken to the Google business page on the maps, where they’re immediately prompted to leave a review.

Upon clicking a five-star review, they can type and post it and add videos, pictures, or whatever they want. This is a straightforward way to send it to your customers manually.

Automating Customer Feedback Gathering

For those looking for automation, there are tools like Housecall Pro. Many products offer this to contractors, doctors, and other business owners. They send texts and emails, asking if the customer is happy with the service, and if so, prompt them to leave a review. You can direct where the review is sent, whether to Google or Facebook.
