How to Add Professional Intros and Outros to Your Videos

Easy Way to Add Intros and Outros to Your Videos for Social Media

Welcome to the BuildIt Media Show where we help local small businesses implement marketing strategies to help build authority and take their business to the next level. I’m Brian Freeman, and welcome to the show.

Today, I want to talk to you about some software that we’ve reviewed over the last few weeks. This video editing software helps with making intros and outros for all your videos and content that you create and upload onto different social platforms. I also want to look at some concerns, issues, and workflows that you may face like we have while using this software.

InVideo Video Editing Software

InVideo is a monthly or annual subscription that provides a massive amount of templates when you sign up. You can find their website at www.invideo.io. InVideo advertises 5,000 plus pre-made templates that are ready to use intros and outros for your videos. The program gives you the ability to remove backgrounds, incorporate your logos, change out all fonts, and meet the branding needs for your company. Video animations are built-in and it allows for very simple editing options via a friendly user interface.  It’s been pretty cool to see what you can produce with minimal effort.

Plan Levels

We purchased the Business Plan, but there is a Free Plan and an Unlimited Plan as well. The free plan includes a watermark. The video watermark doesn’t really work with marketing since there’s nowhere to hide it, however, it allows for a good test. The free plan comes with the 5,000 video templates, and their website states an additional 3 million royalty-free images in their standard media library. The free plan limits the video duration to 15 minutes.

Business Plan

Upgrading to their Business Plan costs $30 per month, but paying the annual subscription equates to $15 per month when signing up for the Business Plan. They really incentivize you to purchase their program on an annual basis. Purchasing the business plan removes the watermark. It allows exporting 60 videos every month and it provides access to over a million different images. This plan includes the 5,000 different video intro and outro templates as well.

Unlimited Plan

The Unlimited Plan is best for agencies and large teams. This plan includes advanced storage and team sharing. You can process 120 iStock media every month. It provides access to the one million plus photos, the watermark is absent, but this level offers unlimited video exports. The unlimited exports make a big impact if you produce a lot of video content for many clients.  The monthly subscription costs $60 a month, but the annual subscription for this plan equates to $30 per month.

Edit Your Video for Social Medi

The interface to edit video flows efficiently, allowing you to seamlessly drag and drop videos together. It also gives you the ability to create videos in a 16×9 format for YouTube, 1×1 square format for Instagram and Facebook, and a portrait 9×16 for Instagram stories as well. The built-in templates provide a lot of versatility, which eliminates a lot of the manual work that typically goes into using Adobe. Everything is right there, very easy and simple.

Repurpose Challenges & How InVideo Can Help

One of the problems we’ve faced is integrating from YouTube to Facebook and vice versa. We use another software called Repurpose to run workflows that push our published videos on YouTube to Facebook. Any video text, such as your domain name or URL, that you include in your YouTube outro does not look good after the push to Facebook, as it doesn’t show up on Facebook in the same way. There’s a good chance that you will need two different outros for your video, one for YouTube and one for Facebook. You might be able to schedule each release individually on both platforms to allow for some kind of automation. Otherwise, InVideo is an efficient program, used by a lot of different people that produce excellent work.
