Embedding YouTube Guest Appearances in Blogs

Hey, everybody. Today, we’re going to discuss how embedding YouTube guest appearances in a blog helps when people search for you. We made a blog showing how this appears in Google search results and how it looks when people search for you on YouTube.

Online Exposure with Treasure Valley Dave

One of the best things you can do is get exposure to other people’s audiences. We interviewed Treasure Valley Dave on our YouTube channel, Real Property Show. Dave is a realtor in the Boise metro area who helps people relocate to Idaho from other states.

We have a lot of business in the San Diego area, so we interviewed Dave and planned to send the interview to our email list. Dave will hopefully get some business from this, growing and getting more deals. The goal is to get exposure to our audience by collaborating on our show and providing education.

How It Works

When creating content and collaborating, for example, in Dave’s instance, he would work with us to get a YouTube embed code when we’re done. We’re publishing it on our YouTube channel and a blog post with the embedded YouTube video.

After embedding, we transcribe it for SEO purposes, looking at H1s, H2s, H3s, and title tags. We’ll also add internal links to our website and an external link to Dave’s website to build authority. Collaborating with other content creators and having their websites publish your content with an authoritative domain creates a strong network of high-quality backlinks, boosting your website’s authority.

Effects on Google Search Results

When someone searches for Treasure Valley Dave on Google, his website appears on the first page, along with other results like YouTube and Facebook.

On the first page, you’ll see links to interviews and collaborations taking up real estate. People will see Dave’s presence on multiple authoritative websites, building credibility and positioning your brand firmly. You can dominate the first page of Google with just your content, making it highly effective.

Reminder Before Guesting on YouTube Channels

Whenever you collaborate with others on their YouTube platforms, ensure you agree to get an embed from the video on their blog post and a backlink to your website.

The link should be a follow-link so search engines index and crawl it, helping to build your website’s authority. Ensure the blog post is optimized with SEO transcriptions so it ranks well. Creating quality content is essential for visibility and value for those searching for your offerings.

To Wrap Up

If you need help creating marketing plans or doing web design in Boise, Idaho and beyond, please request a consultation today. We’d love to see if we can work together.
